ABOUT GADI GHANA

GADI-GHANA is a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) which serves as a Hub for mentoring, training, skills development, funding and empowering young people as well as advocating for youth-oriented policies that seek to include the African youth in the development and democratic process.

GADI-GHANA aspires to ensure community development empowers, advocate for the under-privileged and inspires and promote the rights of young people to fully participate in all economic, social and political activities for good governance and development.

OUR VISION

To engage in projects and programmes to empower and inspire young men and women in rural and deprived areas with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, infrastructure development, community building, and leadership.

To provide young people with access to social, economic and political opportunities for socio-economic change and global development.

OUR PURPOSE

To be a leading advocacy, development and representative organization of all young people to strive to realize their goals.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Ensuring strategic investment in communities and individuals which would create a ripple effect that powers progress for all.
  2. To scan and adopt new solutions, innovations and proven approaches to achieving sustainable development for all with special emphasis on women, the girl child, children and people with disability.
  3. Providing evidence, advocacy tools, knowledge, strategies, and opportunities to enhance networks and partnerships that promote investment and development especially in deprive communities especially among girls and women.
  4. Increase global awareness on how girls, women, and youths are transformative drivers of development through practical vocational skills and leadership development, robust media strategy, social media campaign, and conferences.
  5. Increase the visibility, participation, and voice of young people to build confidence and momentum around key issues that affect them and affect issues of governance of their local communities, countries and the world.
  6. Engage diverse sectors and influence decision makers with tailored programmatic content—especially human rights, education, environment, economic empowerment, gender-based violence, and education—to encourage cross-fertilization of knowledge, to keep gender in the forefront, and to inspire collaboration towards the implementation and achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals.
  7. Advocate for political commitments and national development plans to recognize and support youths, girls and women as the drivers of sustainable development and powerful agents of change.
  8. To explore economic and political opportunities in accelerating women’s empowerment in global value chains and collectively design a framework for action.
  9. To serve as a hub and space to build leadership, confidence and empowerment and resources young people, women, girl child and people with disability.
